About the claim

About Us

KPL is a leading UK law firm specialising in managing large-scale global litigation. Our partners have been involved in some of the most significant claims brought before the UK courts and in the United States, where we have pioneered group litigation, successfully achieving over $30 billion in damages for our clients.

We believe that corporations should be held accountable for their wrongdoing wherever it took place. That is why we are committed to bringing a case against talc manufacturers on your behalf.

KPL is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), ensuring that we uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client care. You can trust that your case will be handled with the utmost integrity and dedication.

How it works

Group litigation claims arise when companies produce dangerous or defective products that harm consumers. At KPL, we seek justice and compensation for those affected by consolidating individual claims into a group litigation. We review scientific evidence and regulatory findings to connect defective products to consumer harm, investigate responsible manufacturers, and pursue claims against them. Currently, we are focusing on talcum powder products containing asbestos, linked to diseases like mesothelioma and ovarian cancer. We invite anyone harmed by such products to join our claim. Throughout the process, we communicate frequently with claimants and work to build strong cases, to secure justice and prevent further harm from corporations.

About the Claim

We are bringing a claim against manufacturers on behalf of those who have suffered from ovarian cancer, mesothelioma, serous fallopian tube cancer, or serous primary peritoneal cancer, which may have resulted from unnecessary exposure to cancer-causing asbestos within talcum powder products.

We argue that manufacturers failed to warn consumers about the safety of their talcum powder as early as the 1970s. We believe that manufacturers knew their talc-based products contained a cancer-causing mineral, asbestos, and failed to act in the interests of customers.

By continuing to sell and market these products, thousands of people in the UK may have been needlessly exposed to asbestos particles, which could have contributed to their cancer diagnosis.

There are many charities, organisations, and communities across the UK that provide essential support to those affected by these diseases—diseases that completely disrupt the lives of those affected. Let us be a part of your support network too.
